Was born in Jerusalem, Israel.  He moved to Arizona with his family when he was 2, and became a naturalized citizen along with his family.  He went to the University of Arizona for a BS in Microbiology, and obtained his medical degree from the University of Arizona as well. He went to the Medical College of Wisconsin to obtain his training in Ophthalmology, and has been with Desert Eye Specialists since 1996.  He has performed thousands of surgeries, and specializes in modern cataract surgery using all the latest technologies. He is married, with two children.  He enjoys travelling,  playing ice hockey, and spending time with his children.
