Anne M. Zaki, M.D.

DESERT EYE SPECIALIST

Dr. Zaki grew up in upstate New York and graduated from The University of Michigan, with a degree in neuroscience. She received her medical degree at The George Washington School of Medicine. Upon graduation from medical school, she completed her ophthalmology residency at Boston University and was selected to be the Chief Resident. Finally, Dr. Zaki completed her fellowship in cornea, anterior segment disease, cataract, and refractive surgery at the esteemed Baylor College of Medicine, Cullen Eye Institute in Houston, Texas. In 2016, Dr. Zaki joined Desert Eye Specialists. She provides a patient centric approach, which allows her to customize each appointment for the individual. Dr. Zaki is involved in research and has published research papers, case studies, and a book chapter. She continues to be actively involved in her profession both locally and nationally as she has served as the president of the Phoenix Ophthalmological Society and presents at local and national meetings. She has received numerous awards for her contributions and outstanding patient care. She is a member of The American Academy of Ophthalmology, The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, The Cornea Society, and American-European Congress of Ophthalmic Surgery. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her husband and her two teenage kids. She is involved in her church community and has a passion for traveling.
